Have you heard of Ko Phi Phi? Well, Ko Phi Phi is known for one of the natural and most beautiful islands in Thailand. The island has long white sandy beaches with cliffs, caves and Limestone Mountains. It is often addressed as an archipelago. While, Ko Phi Phi Don is the largest island from the group. The island has several resorts as options! The island is developed around the Ton Sai Village. There are no vehicles on the island, hence the only means of transport by bicycle or foot. - Maya Bay
The Maya Bay is one of the shallow bay which is surrounded by steep limestone hills. The bay has wonderful marine life and is also a favourite spot for snorkelling. You will always find 30-speedboat and longtail boat on the beach, for sightseers and snorkelers. Visiting at early morning to avoid crowds is the best option.
- Loh Dalum Bay
On the other side of Phi Phi Don is Loh Dalum Bay. This beach also offers a spectacular view, though doesn’t get busy like Maya Bay. The beach is surrounded by limestone cliffs and crystalline emerald water with white sparkling sand. The beach is known for fire shows at night with late parties till early hours. Swimming is best during high tide.
- Bamboo Island
A small Island, located at 3-miles from the Northern tip of Phi Phi Don. One can reach to the island by Longtail boats depending on the weather and tide conditions. There are a few bars which serve great drink and snacks.
- Monkey Beach
You must be wondering why the beach is named after Monkey? Well, it is home to a colony of monkeys. They don’t hesitate to climb on the legs of the visitors in search of food or banana. One can reach to this place by foot or renting canoes from Loh Dalum.
- Pha Nam Bay
It is situated on the east coast of Phi Phi Don. It is home for several fisherman, as it is also known as the local small fishing village. It is possible to reach by foot, but many people opt for hike option across rocky hill. Finding resort option is not a difficult task, if one is looking for a serene and calm place? Then visiting this place will surely make you glad.
